Brake Fluids

The brake oil, also called automotive brake fluid,  is a kind of kinetic fluid transferring pressure produced in the braking process to make sure the brake system can perform braking actions. The quality and selection of brake fluid are directly related to driving safety. The main functions are a transfer of energy, heat dissipation, corrosion and rust protection and lubrication.

• DOT 3: Range of application (vehicle models satisfying the DOT 3 standard)
• Dry boiling point legal requirement: 205°C / Ferodo Fluid: 210°C
• Wet boiling point legal requirement: 140°C / Ferodo Fluid: 140°C
   

• DOT 4: Range of application (vehicle models satisfying the DOT 4 standard)
• Dry boiling point legal requirement: 230°C / Ferodo Fluid: 260°C
• Wet boiling point legal requirement: 155°C / Ferodo Fluid: 165°C
   

• ESP DOT 4: Range of application (specially applicable for vehicle models with ESP/ABS system, vehicle models satisfying the DOT4+ standard, compatible with vehicle models satisfying the DOT4 standard)
• Dry boiling point legal requirement: 260°C / Ferodo Fluid: 270°C
• Wet boiling point legal requirement: 180°C / Ferodo Fluid: 183°C

• Dry boiling point legal requirement: 260°C / Ferodo Fluid: 270°C
