13 EXPEDITION 5.4 SCORED CAMSHAFT

Had this Expedition that kept having a cylinder #3 misfire code. Finally decided to pull the valve cover and get to the bottom of it. One of the intake cam lobes was scored and the follower was knocked off. Pulled a cam bearing cap and it showed signs of scoring. Apparently a lack of lubrication. Time for a new engine.
