2005 Chevrolet Optra
by brian0125 on Feb 02 2018, 7:15 PMI have a 2005 Chevrolet Optra in with customer concern of keeps running after shutting off and removing key from ignition. When they open the door the engine shuts down but all the lights on the dash illuminate. Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

First check the inside rear quarter panel areas for corrosion in the harness connectors, rear washer lines can crack and leak solvent into these areas. If OK then perform voltage drop testing on ALL GROUNDS starting with the main engine ground at starter housing.
