2006 PT Cruiser ...anyone seen this?

by wrench monkey customs on Jul 14 2017, 6:13 PM

got a 2006 PT cruiser. came in for an inspection and oil change. upon light check, i noticed the turn signals would illuminate (not blink) when hitting the brake pedal. All the lights work properly as they should except when hitting the brakes. anyone know if the rear signals tie into the brake light switch?

or any help would be fantastic!

thanks, WMC

Have you checked the multi function switch on the Crusier?

I'm betting the problem is in the multi-function switch. Let us know when you figure it out.

Check the multifunction switch for internal shorts, the brake light switch output runs through there and may have melted together

I have found if you have a wrong light bulb in the rear with the brake circuit it will cause the problem you have.
