Hello,

I am an automotive Instructor at High school level. This post is for my students and by my students!  I would like to show them how the forums work and the students chose this forum. To see if people in the industry can help problem solve!

This is a real problem that they need help finding the solution to! All them from here out!

We have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.4L  with a crank but not start condition!  Codes are attach in picture

P codes   P0010  P2090 P0013 P2004 P0700 (from snap-on Verus)

cranks but will not start- fuel ✔️ Air✔️ Fire✔️( but seems weak)

Battery voltage 11.4 ( we are replacing battery)

EX cam sensor 3.4V 7.1 ohms

Int cam sensor 2.6V  7.0 ohms

we have all data to use in class/shop

we would like to see if any of you have ran across this problem in the past  and does anyone have any quick fixes!

Check the timing belt and make sure it has not jumped a tooth.  These cars are known for timing issues as well as pcm issues.  Check for proper fuel pressure, normally if you have air, fuel and spark even a weak spark the vehicle will run just not well.  My guess is timing is out so your not getting spark and fuel at the correct time.

Could be internal pcm but also the timing belt could have jumped.

I'll agree with crazy cory due to my lack of experience with chyrsler being minimal, but personally I would check your PCM first, like mekanicnine said.

I agree with Cory scope the ckp and make sure the pattern is correct and make sure the signal is reaching the pcm

After some research on Identifix; Most likely cause is a blown Fuse #26. There are also some transmission wiring problems for a P0700. maybe the cause for the blown fuse is near the transmission range selector
