2008 ACADIA C0035 5A
by pdm auto on Jun 15 2018, 12:04 PMWe recently had a 2008 gmc acadia with a noisy wheel bearing we replaced the bearing and the sensor due to it being damaged while changing the hub. installed an aftermarket sensor and upon final road test we had gotten the 5a code which we didnt have prior, we graphed the sensor to determine it was dropping out at speed. we the go another aftermarket sensor and had the same concern after graphing that one we noticed the pattern was worse and ordered an oe sensor which fixed the problem. has anyone come across this before

The DTC C0035 5A is a signal performance code. Start by voltage drop testing the ABS jumper harness on the LF. It may be possible to swap the jumper harnesses side to side and see if the DTC changes to the RF sensor.
