2010 Grand Marquis EATC questions
by karrpilot on Jun 30 2019, 1:48 AMI am / have diagnosis the EATC system on my father's car. A/C works, just won't blow out the vents. Defroster / floor only. I have vacuum to the control head, and it is stable. No vacuum loss under load, so I can rule out the vacuum system. I bypassed the black vacuum supply hose, and plumbed it into the blue vacuum line, and now have A/C coming out the proper vents. Yea!
Ford Motorcraft wants over $400.00 for the control head. I can get a Dormann unit for cheaper, but have not had good luck in the past with their product line. How about you guys?
