2012 Buick Enclave, no crank ,intermittent loss of comunication with PCM
by 1986chevyman on Dec 23 2017, 3:00 PMElite Tech
I had a 2012 Enclave(3.6 v-6) come in this week with a no crank condition. Found the battery was low , so I installed a good donor battery. Still no crank and intermittent loss of communication with PCM, also no able to retrieve data from PCM. notice when I turned the key to run position that the throttle body was being cycle on and off rapidly. Also noticed that the PCM main relay in the under hood fuse box was clicking rapidly. Also the "CHECK ENGINE" light would flash intermittently upon further investigation I found that the ground circuit for the PCM main relay was bad inside the under hood fuse box. the under hood fuse box is on national backorder, but with some research we found one in Michigan that should be here Tuesday. The wireing diagram for the offending circuit is under power distribution the under power moding in Alldata.
