This vehicles front interior light won't cut off when the doors are closed. The lights will cut off in the manual switch mode. The light has 3 positions, manual off, manual on , and control by the door ajar switch. The BCM controls the interior light relay to cut the light off when the doors are closed. After doing research and studying the wiring diagram I decided to take the overhead light loose and do a visual inspection. Upon doing the visual inspection I found that the light switch contacts had rubbed a spot in the plastic housing making the switch completing the circuit in the door control position. A new interior light assembly solved the issue.
