2014 vw Passat 1.8t fuel smell in ac vents at idle

have a 2014 Passat with 70k strong smell of raw fuel in havoc vents at idle NOT in recirculating air only fresh air no signs of fuel leaking under hood.

any ideas nothing on identifix

    Just in case anyone runs into this again,these vehicles are bad about the fuel injector seals leaking under the intake so it’s almost impossible to see without disassembly. You can replace the Teflon seals without replacing entire injector! 4 repaired so far with exact same symptoms! Hope this helps

    This may sound silly but I suggest checking the torque on the spark plugs, no misfire detected.
