Cut and weld in a new piece if possible! If not, best bet is to replace the whole pipe that's got the issue.

If the pipe is good enough shape weld it. Most likely you will have to replace it

Depends on the condition of the pipe.  If the pipe is solid, the welding option would be Ok. If the pipe is old and rusty, I would say replace it.

This depends. if they are tiny holes then yes weld them. but if they are bigger than a 1/4 inch then replace

It would probably depend on what type of holes like rust holes or regular holes. But either way welding it wouldnt hurt it bad because its just the pipes but if its on cat or muffler id probably get a new exhaust wether it would be custom or OEM. I'd just weld it because it wouldn't affect hp to much unless its really bad then I'd go with new custom exhaust.

if it has deteriorated to the point that it has small holes rusted in it, the integrity of the pipe is probably very poor.  better to recommend replacement . you'll end up welding a hole shut and then tomorrow its leaking somewhere else....

New pipe is the only way to go . I treat every car like it was mine.
