Do you avoid recovering systems that you know have had sealant installed?

We are getting ready to deploy a new AC machine at our shop. I've bought the AirSept recycle guard filter system for it.  Would you recover systems that you know have had sealants installed or not?  It is not always easy to know and we are always going to run in to systems unaware that have had  sealant added. BUT, would you recover from a system that YOU KNOW has had sealant installed?

Thanks, Jeff

I would. They told us how terrible stop leak was when it first came out. We have worked on systems with stop-leak in it. Have never found a system to be destroyed by stop leak. It's not as bad as they say it is. I do not put stop-leak in customer's cars because I don't believe in the product & do understand that there is potential to do damage. We do change our a/c machine filters regularly.

We've been using our Robinair machine for about 10 years now and, while I try not to, I'm sure it's recovered a lot of sealer over the years.  Never had an issue with it though.  I wouldn't do it knowingly just because of the investment dollars...

No.  I do wonder how often we as shops recover systems that have sealant in them though.  But I would not knowingly do so.
