Drive belts

When replacing a drive belt, I always make a sketch of the belt routing.  I know you can find this information in your service information (Alldata, Identifx). but you don't have to look it up and can complete the job faster.

Keeping the camera phone close by always helps in situations like that . Saves wasting the time going to the computer looking for the routing diagram. I've told a lot of my younger techs to keep using the camera phone when disassembling almost anything. Gives them a good reference on jobs they have never done before , and on things the repair manuals don't go into detail on.
