Hunter Hawkeye Sensors Not Recognized

by talkin moose 123 on Jun 28 2017, 7:47 PM

We have a Hunter Hawkeye s811 Aligner. It seems that intermittently the heads are not recognized by the Hawkeye unit and the tech needs to reboot the system for everything to work again.

We've checked to make sure the sensors are clean, it just seems like the Hawkeye isn't reading. Has any one ever run into this before?...Hunter just updated the machine a few weeks ago too...

We have to on occasion unplug the cord, you will here 4 "dongs" that means the cameras have been rebooted.

If this is the cart style rack, we occasionally have to move the T Post just a tad at our shop (Occasionally gets bumped into).

On our machine we have to cover the glass in the bay door behind the alignment rack.  It seems to be something about having direct light behind the sensors.  Even in the summer, we close the door or it can't find the sensors.

Occasionally we have to clean the heads. They get dust buildup on them.

Sometimes they do not read when the vehicle is too crooked on the rack. Just make sure it is lined up straight all the way around.. could fix it

Did you try to clean the camera lens on the T post or reconnect the plugins on the back of the machine
