Looking for a Scan Tool

by jeffburke90 on Mar 06 2018, 3:29 PM

I have used a Snap-On Solus Edge for sometime now, but I am looking for a less expensive scan tool that isn't so pricey to keep updated. I know you get what you pay for, but I am looking for recommendations of a cheaper scan tool

I have the Autel and the Launch pad. there almost the same set up in soft wear, both tools are awesome i have put them up against very expensive snapon tools and the Launch and Autel have wallked all over them. both these tool have all imports and north american auto makers covered. I have friends that have the very expensive tools and call me to use mine, because they dont want to pay the big update costs that the snapon tools have.

The Autel is a good scanner.  I have it and the new Snapon Zeus, I would go with the Autel for the money.

I know this was posted quite a while ago but we recently purchased an Autel MS906 and I'm still amazed at the functions its able to handle.

I pick it up over my Snap-on every time, and to boot it was only $1500.
