Update to section 609 certification

MACS Section 609 Refrigerant Recycling and Recovery Certification Program
Effective 1/1/2018 Certification is required to purchase refrigerant if you plan to buy kegs of refrigerant and work on a/c systems as a professional.  Otherwise the do it yourselfer can buy the handgernades still at the shop and save vent it to the atmosphere.  Oh yeah it's 20 bucks to take the test.  It can be taken from ASE or MACS just to let you know

    It is real reasonably priced and not very difficult. Have have mie since the 90's as well, but have helped younger guys sign up for the test since.

    I have been MACS certified ever since MACS started certifying technicians.  I think in the mid 90's.
