Biography

Brandon began racing quarter midgets at the age of 6. At age 9, he raced a full season and continued to do so until he was 13 when he got a dirt modified, which he worked on and put together during the off season. Brandon turned 14 the following winter,and come spring was ready to go race. He went to a practice day at Jacksonville Speedway for the first seat time in his modified! Soon after, Brandon would race a Dirt Late Model where he’d finished 15th—and has been racing Late Models every since! Brandon has won 63 features and captured the 2013 UMP Dirt Late Model Championship the same year was Crowned UMP Summer Nationals Champion also won the Dirt Track World Championship!  Brandon comes from a long line of dirt racers going back to his Great Grandpa Joe Sheppard Jr, his Grandpa Steve Sheppard, his Dad Steve Sheppard Jr and his Uncle “Fast Eddie” Bauman. It’s a family tradition that he is very proud of.
