Biography

Del Worsham, driver of the DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car, began his nitro drag racing career at Pomona in the fall of 1990, and has gone on to secure 33 career wins, including 25 in the Funny Car class. After clinching the 2011 Top Fuel NHRA World Championship, the popular Worsham retired from driving and took to a new role as crew chief leading the Tequila Patrón Toyota Camry Funny Car team of fellow Kalitta Motorsports driver Alexis DeJoria. After one season out of the driver’s seat, he returned to the cockpit in 2013 as the driver of the DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car. Worsham is a 43-year old resident of Chino Hills, California. He is married to Connie. They have twin daughters: Katelyn and Madelyn (3/4/02).
