Biography

Jordan Ives is a third generation race car driver from Gladstone, Michigan. At the age of five he began racing motorbikes on the ice. Within a few years, Jordan shifted his focus to micro-sprint cars, where he excelled and won several championships. In the summer of 2012, fresh off of two winter championships in the 600cc micro sprint class, Jordan made his move into super late models on asphalt. This step proved to be a wise choice, as he won eight races at Norway Speedway, including his first race, earning Rookie of the Year in the super late model class. Jordan also ran his 600cc micro sprint on the dirt at UPIR that summer and won the championship.

In 2013, Jordan progressed as he ventured out to several new tracks. He continued to win races, finished top 10 in points at Norway Speedway (earning Most Improved Driver title), finished in the top 20 in the Tundra Super Late Model Series. In 2014, Jordan started the year on a high note winning the Search For A Champion contest as well as winning his first two feature races at Norway Speedway. He led the points series for most of the year and finished top five.

During the 2015 season, Jordan faced several trials starting with a fiery wreck during Speed Weeks at New Smyrna Speedway resulting in a total loss of his Super Late Model. The team bounced back and ran two Super Late Model series that year including limited races in his 600cc micro sprint car. Jordan finished seventh in points at Norway Speedway, winning three feature races, including the last two races of the Super Late Model year.
