Biography

Taylor Toftemark, a young lady from Castle Rock, Washington, started racing Jr Dragsters at the age of 8 years. She was inspired by her father who has always had a passion for racing. Taylor pilots an NHRA Top Alcohol Junior Dragster capable of traveling the eighth mile in 7.9 seconds and reaching speeds of 85mph. After six years of succefully racing her way through the classes, she finally achieved her goal of winning a track championship at Woodburn Dragstrip allowing her to compete in the 2014 Division 6 ET Finals. Taylor has continued to follow her dreams with the help of Champion Spark plugs winning several Jr Dragster Challenges and numerous races throughout the region. She has also been recognized repeatedly for cutting perfect lights. As Taylor continues improving her driving skills she looks forward to the transition to racing a full size car in the quarter mile with Team Champion by her side.
